Baelin Caldoran[1] is a human found in Naxxramas. Four orbs, associated with the quarters of the necropolis can be found by his side: The Military Orb, the Construct Orb, the Arachnid Orb and the Plague Orb. Each orb that is activated increases the damage and health of all creatures in the raid, and provides specific mechanic changes within the associated quarter, but also causes bosses to drop more loot and Splinters of Atiesh.
As Scarlet Inquisitor Caldoran, he appears in Scarlet Base Camp in the Eastern Plaguelands. In the Scarlet Enclave, he then appears as a boss encounter called Grand Crusader Caldoran.
Background
As a Knight-Captain of the Alliance of Lordaeron, he participated in the Culling of Stratholme on Prince Arthas' side. When Leonid Barthalomew tried to protect his own family, Caldoran ordered their deaths.[2] After Leonid was freed from the Scourge's control, he returned home to find that his son, Percival, had survived. When Caldoran discovered them together, he ordered Leonid to be hanged and Percival slain for consorting with the undead.[3]
As an inquisitor of the Scarlet Crusade, he participated in the attack against Naxxramas. There, he picked up the 
[Corrupted Ashbringer] from the Four Horsemen, leaving the 
[Blade of Inquisition] in its stead. When questioned about the Blade of the Inqusition -- Caldoran is dismissive; unwilling to discuss the matter further.[4]

- In the early stages of the patch 1.15.7 PTR, Caldoran used to wield the [Corrupted Ashbringer] that he looted in Naxxramas.
