Azoran was summoned by alternate Gul'dan at the Broken Shore,[1] and was later seen in Azsuna. He was a powerful eredar who commanded great rank within the Burning Legion.[2] Azoran was the Legion general leading the operation in Felsoul Hold,[3] and he planned to use the Burning Legion command ship, the Lightbreaker, to destroy Dalaran.[4]
An order leader worked with Lyana Darksorrow to undo Azoran's plans. They killed his most powerful lieutenants, and retrieved the key shards that could open the only portal to the Lightbreaker. While Lyana guarded the portal to prevent Legion reinforcements from intervening, the order leader boarded the ship and killed Azoran.[5]
