Notes

• The allied race recruitment quests can only be done once per account.
• Unlocking allied races originally required reaching Exalted reputation with that race's associated faction and completing an associated quest achievement. The reputation requirement was removed in patch 9.0.1 and the achievement requirement was removed in patch 10.1.5.
• All of the allied race recruitment chains originally required the purchase of Battle for Azeroth. Since Battle for Azeroth became part of the base game on 8 October 2020, this is no longer a barrier.
• The earthen are the first allied race to not require a recruitment questline. However, several The War Within questlines ( [Allied Races: Earthen]) are required to unlock them.
